Well I’ve just finished a four week sub in a primary 2 class which was very challenging.
I decided to spend my break relaxing and taking much needed time to myself. So I read a great book by Jodi Picoult who wrote Small Great Things. The title of this book lured me in as I thought of the small great things that happen everyday in the classroom. This book has nothing to do with education at all which was a nice change.
If you are interested in the injustices that minorities face on a daily basis throughout the world. This is the book for you. If you are interested in how race can interfere with a persons everyday life. This is the book for you. If you love a book about criminal law and the system. This is definitely the book for you.
I began this book on Monday and finished it by Wednesday, I was unable to put this book down, well when I say book I refer to my iPad. I apologise in advance but I’m of the generation that prefers an ebook to the feel and smell of a real book.
If you would like a synopsis let me know!
